Step 1 - Find Your Best Stats
Look through all of your dinos and find the best stats you have.
The only stats most people care about are:
❤️ Health
⚡ Stamina
⚖️ Weight
💪 Melee
Food and Oxygen are usually ignored.
Movement speed cannot be mutated.
Step 2 - Breed Them Together
Example:
Male
Health: Best
Melee: Best
Female
Stamina: Best
Weight: Best
Breed them together.
The babies will get a mix of Mum's and Dad's stats.
Keep breeding until you hatch a baby that has all four of the good stats.
Don't worry if it takes a while. That's completely normal.
Step 3 - Make a Matching Pair
Now breed until you have:
1 Male with all the good stats.
1 Female with all the same good stats.
These are now your starting breeders.
IMPORTANT: Don't level these dinos. Ever.
Leave them exactly as they hatched so it's easy to see when a mutation happens later.
💡 Think of these two as your "master copies". Everything you breed from now on comes from them. They will be known as Clean Male and Clean Female throughout this guide.
💡 Use the Clean Male and Clean Female to create a bunch of clean females. You do not want any mutations on these females. A setup that I have used for a long time looks like this. 15 females is a good starting number.
