The B+ Hatchery makes breeding much easier by automatically collecting eggs, hatching them, and claiming the babies for you.

Step 1 - Place Your Hatchery

Place the Hatchery somewhere within breeding range of your dinos.

The Hatchery has a collection radius, so make sure your breeding dinos are close enough for it to pick up fertilised eggs. You can change the radius by interacting with the radial wheel for it.

Step 2 - Enable Egg Collection

Open the Hatchery inventory.

Turn Egg Collection ON.

Once enabled, any fertilised eggs laid within range will automatically be picked up and stored inside the Hatchery.

Step 3 - Enable Auto Hatch

Turn Auto Hatch ON.

When an egg reaches 100% incubation, the Hatchery will hatch it automatically.

⚠️ Important: If you don't want every egg to hatch automatically, leave this setting OFF and hatch the eggs yourself.

Step 4 - Enable Auto Claim

Turn Auto Claim ON.

When a baby hatches, the Hatchery will automatically claim it for your tribe so it isn't left unclaimed.

Step 5 - Check Your Babies

Once the babies hatch:

Make sure they have food.

Move them somewhere safe if needed.

Continue your breeding as normal.

Recommended Settings

For most players we recommend:

✅ Egg Collection - ON

✅ Auto Claim - ON

❓ Auto Hatch - Your Choice

If you're mass breeding for mutations, Auto Hatch can save a lot of time.

If you want to have control exactly when they hatch, leave Auto Hatch turned off.

Top Tip

The Hatchery is there to make breeding easier—not to replace checking your dinos.

It's still a good idea to regularly empty old eggs, check your babies, and make sure everything is working properly.

Linking a Propagator to a Hatchery

  1. Make sure Dropping Eggs is turned OFF on the Propagator.
  2. Interact with the Propagator and open the Radial Wheel.
  3. Select Structure Linking.
  4. Choose Hatchery from the list.
  5. Select the Hatchery you want to link.

Once linked, eggs from the Propagator will automatically be sent to that Hatchery.

Tip: If you have a separate Hatchery for each Propagator, name your Hatcheries first. This makes it much easier to select the correct one when linking them.
